About Holbeck Food Bank
Our Mission
Holbeck Food Bank is a food distribution service providing crisis food parcels to individuals and families in Holbeck and Leeds 11. We work on a referral basis, to provide food for those who are in immediate need and cannot currently provide food for themselves.
Holbeck Food Bank is a project supported by The Christian Churches in Holbeck. Together as the Church we are passionate about demonstrating God’s love to the community by caring for people.
Delivery
Unfortunately, we are short of volunteers at the moment, which means that deliveries are not always going to be on the same day, but we will try to deliver within 24 hours.
. Delivery will be between 10am and 3pm when volunteers are available, and only two attempts will be made. Clients will be contacted before delivery.
Referrals
Holbeck Food Bank cannot accept any of the help through hardship referrals because of the size and lack of volunteers. All referrals must be for residents of Leeds 11 and specified on the referral as living there.
If you would like to make a referral please download the Holbeck Foodbank Referral Form from the section at the bottom of this page in either PDF or Microsoft Word format, complete the form and email it to: holbeckfoodbank@gmail.com
Referrals received Monday to Friday before 1pm may be delivered on the same day if volunteers are available. Referrals received outside these hours will be processed as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee same-day delivery.
Area Delivered To
Unfortunately we are only able to serve the Leeds 11 area. To find out about food banks that serve other areas in Leeds, please try The Trussel Trust or Leeds Food Aid Network.
